I have one thing to say.

Step down bitch. I'll make a game where ever I damn well please. If I want to thrash and crush Newbies at Key Quest then I will. I'm tired of getting Silver keys because my computer can't handle the mini games. If curb-stomping the newbies is what I have to do to get some Gold keys for once, then I'll curb stomp their whiny bitch asses.

I know it's only 1 AM there but this has been going on for the past week! TNT claims that they had too much work to do with going through reports and accounts. Here's an idea! Fix the damn security hole and prevent more accounts from being lost! In turn, reducing your damn workload! It's common sense Neopets! I swear, people who have no common sense run the site! I wonder about people on Neopets. This newbie was on the HC asking to be lent FQD without collateral. Then, they admit that it's their side account. Next, I looked on their user look up and they played seven games. Now, I can understand accidentally playing one or two games on a side but seven? Cheating flag has been triggered. Lesson of this? Eagle-eyed Neopians will catch small things like this.

"As of April 21, 2010, the U.S. Copyright Office finally began certifying my copyright claims (which I initially filed beginning back in January 2009) on every single story I ever wrote, penciled or both for Archie Comics. As a result, I am now officially recognized by the U.S. Government as the owner of every single SONIC and KNUCKLES story I ever created (well, almost every one right now, but it will be “all” shortly, as soon as the Copyright Office finishes with the last few claims. But I digress…).

What does this mean?

That means anyone seeking to use my characters, concepts and stories that were published in the pages of SONIC THE HEDGEHOG, various SONIC 48-page specials, various issues of SONIC SUPER SPECIALS, the PRINCESS SALLY mini-series, the SONIC'S FRIENDLY NEMESIS KNUCKLES mini-series, KNUCKLES THE DARK LEGION and the KNUCKLES THE ECHIDNA series, must first contact me for permission and to make arrangements for the use of this material.

For example, if someone were to display a panel or page from a story I wrote and illustrated on their website, or planned to make a poster from a cover I drew, they must contact me for permission first before doing so. They will be asked to place the proper copyright notice – for example, “© 2010 by Ken Penders” - alongside the graphic image.

As for how it affects the SONIC THE HEDGEHOG titles published by Archie Comics, while it does not prevent them from publishing the SONIC series, they are not allowed to use any of my characters, concepts or stories without further discussion with my representatives. For now, they cannot reprint any of my stories in any media whatsoever, nor can they use any of my characters. Julie-Su, Geoffrey St. John, Hershey, Rob O' the Hedge, Lien-Da, the Dark Legion along with the rest of the characters and concepts I created - including the alternative universes and future timeline - cannot appear in the series.

Every story since issue #160 that features my characters and concepts is essentially unauthorized, as I did not grant Archie Comics the right to use my creations for their benefit without compensation to me.

I am currently at work creating a new story featuring my characters, the first of which is a tale of Lara-Su learning about her family, in particular the early days of her grandparents Locke and Lara-Le leading up to the time of the birth of their child. Whether or not this new story or others will feature SONIC and KNUCKLES is a decision only SEGA can make. However, there are plenty of stories to be told with the cast I already have created, and there is a sizable audience for those stories.

I initially took the action of reclaiming my work when I was contacted by many SONIC fans asking me if I had contributed in any way to the development of the video game SONIC CHRONICLES: THE DARK BROTHERHOOD. I was then startled to learn how many characters and concepts from the KNUCKLES series I created were adapted within the framework of the game's storyline. It was clearly obvious why suddenly so many fans sat up and took notice.

While I initially contributed to the SONIC mythos within the pages of the various SONIC-related comic series, I did not sign any agreement allowing my work to be used in another media. During this time, I consulted with Michael Lovitz, an Intellectual Property attorney based in Beverly Hills, who advised me of my rights and how to proceed to protect those rights.

At this time, anyone distributing and selling copies of SONIC ARCHIVES Nos. 3 through 13, SONIC SELECT Nos. 1 and 2, as well as any of the latest issues of SONIC THE HEDGEHOG and SONIC UNIVERSE that feature my characters in any way, shape or form will be asked to cease and desist or else risk facing the consequences. This includes any version of said material, which also includes my original works, which sees release in any format beyond the original published comic books, including but not limited to digital downloads. (Yes, the iTunes and iPhones stores distributing my stories are currently infringing my copyrights, and are in the process of being made aware of this infringement.)

Discussion of this news is welcome on the bulletin board elsewhere on this website, where I will respond to legitimate questions based on my schedule. Thank you."

Neopets - Cookie Grabbers?

So, apprently, then's another Cookie Grabber/Hacker scare on Neopets. According to this board:

35 people were CG'd on the AC last night and someone was CG'd when buying a low priced Code Stone from a shop. Of course, people automatically jump the gun yelling 'HACKER!'. To hack, you'd have to hack into the Neopets database, which can get you in trouble with the law. I really doubt someone's going to risk law trouble over virtual points. On the other hand, cookie grabbing doesn't require you to hack the database and there has been evidence that cookie grabbers have been on Neopets at different points in time.

My advice? Stay on the boards, stay off the shops/look-ups/etc.

Pokemon Crater

I posted before that I would post things besides Club Penguin so this shouldn't come as a surprise that it's not CP related.
Anyway, there's an online game called Pokemon Crater. It's like a real Pokemon game only HTML based and there are over thousands of Pokemon to catch.
There's 493 regular Pokemon, then there are about 9 site-only pokemon. Next are the shiny versions of all the Pokemon, followed by the metal versions, and the ghost versions, and the dark versions. Then there's the donation-only golden Pokemon and according to the Pokemon Crater wiki, there is a rainbow Ponyta which evolves into a rainbow Rapidash.
If you're a Pokemon fan like I am, I strongly recommend that you give this site a try. The link is at the bottom of this page, under the 'Other Sites' section.

Beat the matching game that comes up. Fairly easy.

6.

Collect your reward.

Alliance Leaders - Billy, Zylo, and Trevor

Leaders - Billy

While Sneak took his own path in the quest to find Herbert, Billy stayed with the former PSA. Billy, as did most other EPF members, agreed with The Director on allowing anyone to join the EPF. They needed all the help they could get and soon. These events turned Sneak and Billy against each other.
While Sneak did anything, even things that the EPF doesn't approve of, to find Herbert, Billy insisted on doing everything as the EPF says to do. When Sneak would find new clues leading to Herbert, Billy and the other EPF agents would have to clean up his messes. And, when Billy would follow orders as given by G, Sneak would show up and tell Billy to stop wasting his time. Eventually, things got bad enough that Billy convinced The Director to label Sneak as a renegade who must be stopped.

Neutral Alliance

Leaders - Zylo, Trevor

While this fighting between Sneak and Billy was going on, Zylo remained neutral, for the most part. However, when Sneak taunted the EPF and Billy got him labeled as a renegade, she stepped up to stop both of them. With her was her ever faithful Pokemon, Trevor the Quilava.
Sometime in between the changing of Winter to Spring, Trevor's egg had landed on the shores of Club Penguin. Seeing that no one else was around at the time, Zylo took the egg home and did her best to take care of it. When it hatched, a small creature, later stated by G to be a Cyndaquil, popped out of the egg. The creature immediately took to Zylo and she named it Trevor. That spring, Trevor evolved into a Quilava. Since then, he's always been by Zylo's side and has joined the Neutral Alliance.

Alliance Leaders - Sneak

Since I'm determined to keep updates coming, have yet to find any summer themed igloos, and Club Penguin has yet to update about anything, I'm going to post the leaders of each alliance and some background info.

Dark Alliance:

Leader - Sneak

During the months that dwindled by, Sneak was slowly getting restless. There were no storms, no one to save, and no leads on a certain Herbert P. Bear. Finally, the report from G came in. The PSA finally got a lead on Herbert and his ever present sidekick, Klutzy the Crab. What drove him over the edge was the destruction of the PSA HQ.

Making his way through the wreckage to the EPF HQ, he argued with The Director. They argued over either waiting for Herbert to make his next move or use the technology they had to perform a full scan of the island and find exactly where Herbert was. Not only that, but the fact that soon any penguin would be able to join the EPF after a few tests angered Sneak. The EPF was meant to be a step harder to get into and a step higher then the PSA, not become a replacement PSA.

The Director tried to reason with Sneak but he refused to hear any more 'excuses'. Sneak stormed out of Command Room and out the door of the Sports Shop, not caring if any non-agents saw him. Later that night, some penguins claimed they saw someone standing on top of the Light House Beacon. As storm clouds rolled in and a clasp of lightning was seen in the distance, Sneak looked over the vast island of Club Penguin. Swearing that he would find Herbert at all costs, he disappeared into the night as the thunderstorm rolled over Club Penguin and it's inhabitants...

The island's moved from spooky to snowy - there's a cold snap coming and some celebrations might be in order! But before we get to that, we'll need to dress for the weather - and the latest Penguin Style in the Gift Shop has some new cool weather gear. You can trade the pumpkin heads for earmuffs (but only if you want - the pumpkin heads might be fun with one of those new coats).

I think we are lucky it hasn't exploded alredy. Some ninjas say the valcano has feelings and is celeberating holloween with a storm. Others say it is not a threat because it has always been there before. I for one have no idea and I am pretty shure sensei is the only one who knows for shure. 1. Carry a bright flashlight to illuminate sidewalks, steps and paths.
2. Use fresh flashlight batteries. Check it BEFORE you leave the house.
3. Always WALK, do not run. You can slip and fall down.
4. Stay on the sidewalks and if there are no sidewalks, walk on the left side of the road.
5. Walk SINGLE file, facing the traffic.
6. Obey ALL local traffic signals.
7. Cross only at corners, with adults.
8. Trick-or-Treat only in familiar neighborhoods.

This Saturday is really exciting because it's Club Penguin's 4th Anniversary! We're all stoked to party in the Town Center and Coffee Shop. I can't wait to get the new hat. This'll be my 4th!! I tried to get some info from some of the team who's helping with the planning.

Is it challenging to make such a HUGE cake for the Anniversary Party? Doesn't it make you hungry?
It sure does. That is why being a cake maker requires extreme self control (but I did go home and make a giant cake anyhow...)!

What's your fave party from the past year & why?
Definitely the Medieval party! Putting on my fish knight costume and waddling amongst the dragons and fellow gallant adventurers was an experience of epic proportions!

Last week you came through with some cool igloo decorating tips. Here's one that we thought was pretty creative:

When I decorate my igloo, I like to "make" my own decorations out of smaller ones. For example, I make a graveyard out of tombstones and spider webs that takes up the whole igloo. When I finish decorating, I throw a party with my buddies and we have a costume contest or act out an old Halloween story. My advice is to keep your igloo designs original and to have fun doing it!

There's a lot of Halloween spookiness going on around the island. The Halloween Igloo Contest is starting on Friday along with a new furniture catalog, and the team's even been putting together more costumes for later this month. And speaking of costumes, we wanted to show you a little secret about something we do when we design clothing for penguins.

Remember the You Decide Poll with the rough art of the Gnome costume for the new November Stage? We got quite a few people asking why the penguins are always grey in these pictures. Some of you even asked if it's a new penguin color that's coming out!

It's not a new penguin color... but we do put the clothes on grey penguins for a reason. Grey is neutral - which means it doesn't look strange next to a different color. If we were to use a yellow or dark blue penguin all the time when we designed clothes, we might end up making a lot of clothing items that look really good on yellow or dark blue penguins, but nothing else! Using a grey penguin gives us the best chance of creating clothing items with colors that work on all penguins.

The mysterious penguin was spotted yet again. However, he didn't say anything but when I saw him, he disappeared and left behind a note that said, 'Sneak.'

Now, Billy and I are trying to find out what the note means. Sneak could be his name, what he does, someone he knows, etc. Maybe we'll find out on the days leading up to Halloween.

Mysterious Penguin

So, Billy found the Mysterious Penguin again today.

He's what Billy has reported that the penguin has said,

"Notice the volcano, it represents fire. Look carefully through the Binoculars at the Cove, there are many new waves there, representing water. The third sign is one that I have yet to discover, however, it may be the ever present Iceberg, representing ice. These elements are show in the Ninja Hideout and in the middle is nothingness. That symbol is for those of these statures:

Those who are undecided on which path.
Those who wish to remain neutral.
Those who has chosen different paths and have become masters of their own destinies."

Mysterious Penguin

Remember the unknown robot penguin from the last post? Well, we managed to get a screen shot of the penguin outside of his costume. However, we are still unable to tell who he is.

However, Billy and I overheard him talking to the other Ninjas in the Ninja Hideout.

"Fire, Water, Ice...these are the paths that Sensei has laid before you. As he once said, 'Behold the great Volcano, where we'll seek to train.' If you really want to train, then follow your own path. I was part of a group of ninjas who followed every thing Sensei said and did everything that he did. The difference between me and them? I chose my own path and have acquired knowledge that can not be taught but must be experienced first hand. That, my fellow ninjas, has made all the difference."

We'll be updated as soon as we find out more about this penguin.

Halloween, will soon be here and this Friday, the special Halloween Edition of Penguin Styles will come out.

Here are some rough ideas as to what our costumes this year will be.

Okay, here's my costume. A pirate like version of Frankenstein's Monster.

I thought that the monster's name was Frankenstein....

No, actually, the monster being called Frankenstein is just a result of Hollywood movies. The real name is a toss up between 'The Monster' and 'Frankenstein's Monster'.

Oh...anyway,

That's right! Halloween!

Now, with Halloween comes haunted igloos.

Of course, not all of them are haunted igloos. Some of them, such as ours, are more like club houses.

That's right! So, in October, Billy and I will be looking at other penguin's igloos. We'll be picking the best ones to be posted on here.

Oh, and for those who go on Neopets, you might see a nice surprise at the Money Tree on Halloween night. ;)

So...there's a whole bunch of buzz about the smoke that's been spotted and I've been kinda curious. I managed to sit down with someone on the team who helps with the island map. And here's what he had to say about the whole thing:

Q: Is this smoke we're seeing coming from a volcano? Or is it a mountain?

A: At first I thought it might be the Tallest Mountain, but it can't be. After all, there are taller mountains surrounding the one that's smoking. And when you think about it, it must be a volcano! Most of the mountains on Club Penguin have snow on the top of them, but that mountain has never had any snow on it.

Q: Does this have anything to do with the ninja stuff that's happening?

A: Well I can't give away all our secrets, but I've noticed that the ninjas in Club Penguin have been very active lately!

Q: Um...Haven't you noticed that there's no TREAT shop on the map?

A: I suppose there are no treat shops, but if you ever need to satisfy your sweet tooth go to the kitchen at the Pizza Parlor and turn the big red lever on the Pizzatron 3000!

Not sure that my curiosity's been satisfied...but at least we know it's a volcano. And even though nobody's willing to confirm it, I still wonder if all these mysterious things are related. Let me know if you hear anything else.
